Stockage & Systèmes corrosion-resistant tanks are manufactured in HDPE (high density polyethylene) or in PPH (polypropylene).

Two aspects determine the manufacturing material used:

- Dangerousness of the chemical to be stored
- Storage temperature

Choosing the tank material depending on the nature of the chemical to be stored

Tank Wall-Thickness

For heavy chemicals storage, Stockage & Systèmes manufactures 75 mm (thickness) tanks.

The shell ring can reach 75mm thick depending on the stored chemical (its density and storage temperature); the manufacturing material coefficients, and the tank size.

Tank sizes here provided, correspond to the winding mandrel, that is, the tank's internal diameter.

HDPE and PPH provide numerous advantages guaranteeing a safe and reliable storage:

Chemical inertia and polyvalence: they effectively store acids, bases, effluents and other corrosive chemicals regardless their concentration, density or high temperature.
Important thermal insulation
UV-resistant: maintenance-free
Abrasion and impact-resistant: tanks can be used to store or to mix viscous or abrasive chemicals.
