Safety showers and eyewash stations all must comply with EN 15154-1 and EN 15154-2 standards. They are strongly recommended by French Labor Code in Article R. 232-1-6 which specifies, “Work places are equipped with first aid equipment that is adapted to the nature of the risks and easily accessible.”

• Installed immediately close to hazard zones (no more than 10 seconds walking).
• Access must be easy and clearly marked.
• Delivered with standardized pictograms compliant with NFX 08.003, ISO 3864 standards and European Directive 92/52/CEE.
• Supplied with potable water
• Minimum rinsing time of 15 min.
• Activation time less than 1 sec.
• Water temperature between 15 and 25°C.
• Weekly inspection must be performed (visual inspection and function test).
• Monthly preventive maintenance and annual maintenance scheduled.
